Today I met a friendly poodle named Charles le Chien. He was known by his friends as simply, Charley. He told me about his travels with his owner (John Steinbeck) to 34 states in America inside a 3 ton pickup truck. I think I am going to pick up the book, Travels With Charley, as soon as I can get to the Borders Bookstore. Here is a picture of Charley, John Steinbeck, and me.
